01 / About me

About Me

I am a third-year Electronics and Computer Engineering student at KTH with a strong interest in both hardware and software development. I enjoy trying new things, challenging myself, and tackling complex problems that require creativity, persistence, and technical understanding.

What excites me most about engineering is the possibility of building things that matter. Whether it is through electronics, programming, or a combination of both, I am driven by the idea of creating solutions that can have a real-world impact.

Outside of my studies, I am very physically active and enjoy playing football, basketball, padel, volleyball, and other sports. I also value spending time with family and friends, as they keep me grounded and motivated.

One belief that strongly influences my goals is that innovation should focus more on solving real problems. In a world where many products are built on top of existing solutions, I want to contribute to something meaningful — something that can improve people’s lives in a practical and lasting way.

Featured Projects

Spotiqa

A study-spot finder for the KTH campus, built as a group project by a team of seven. A sensor node built around a Raspberry Pi watches each study area, and the web app tells you what is free before you leave home. Pick a building on the campus map, see free seats, temperature and humidity per floor, save your favourite areas and get notified when enough seats open up.

Ultrasonic Distance Sensor

A distance-measuring system built with an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor and an Arduino Uno. The sensor sends out ultrasonic pulses and times the reflected echo to calculate how far away an object is. The distance is shown live on a row of LEDs on a breadboard — green when the object is far away, through yellow, to red as it gets closer — similar to a car's parking sensor. The project covers the full chain: wiring the circuit, reading the sensor's timing signals and turning them into a reliable distance reading.

Snake on a ChipKit Uno32

The classic Snake game, written from scratch in C and MIPS assembly for a ChipKit Uno32 microcontroller with the Basic I/O Shield, as a pair project in KTH's IS1200 Computer Hardware Engineering course. The snake is drawn pixel by pixel on the shield's small 128×32 OLED screen and steered with its push buttons. We worked straight against the board's ports and pins, and built in solid, failsafe button handling so the game never misses or misreads a press.

Part-time at IKEA

IKEA logoWhile I study

Alongside my studies I work part-time at IKEA. Juggling shifts with lectures and labs has taught me time management, teamwork and how to stay calm when the store gets busy — and meeting customers every day has made me a far better communicator. It is a small part of my week that pays off in more ways than one — in July 2024 my colleagues even named me Employee of the Month.
